Dorothy Phiri and her husband founded Mercy Ministries in 1995 as a response to needs they saw in their own Zambian community: unemployment, unschooled children, hunger — these issues all being further exacerbated by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Mercy Ministries International was founded as an alternative to this suffering, bringing vulnerable children and orphans education, rehabilitation, and job readiness for empowerment.
The vision and aim of Mercy Ministries is to bring the love of Jesus to each individual we serve through food, education and empowerment. We welcome your interest and support to help us help those in need in Zambia!
